SMI Security Services is currently seeking a professional, experienced, and highly motivated Seasoned Site Manager for a premier property located in the Brickell area. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and has a strong background in security operations and team management.

This position is ideal for someone who is confident in leading security personnel, interacting with the public, and maintaining strong communication with clients. The selected candidate will play a critical role in the daily operations of the property and will serve as the direct liaison between the client and SMI Security Services.

Position Overview:
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily security operations while actively working alongside your team in the field. This is a working supervisor position, meaning you will not only manage operations but also remain heavily involved in the day-to-day activities of the site.

You will supervise and support a team of approximately 10 security officers while working closely with the client and their internal security team to ensure the property operates safely, professionally, and efficiently.

What makes this opportunity unique is the long-term growth potential. The selected candidate will initially work under SMI Security Services for a 90-day probationary period. During this time, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership abilities, professionalism, reliability, and operational management skills. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the client intends to hire the candidate directly.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
  • Supervise, lead, and support a team of approximately 10 security officers.
  • Ensure all officers maintain professionalism, proper uniform standards, and excellent customer service.
  • Conduct on-site training and orientation for all newly assigned security guards.
  • Motivate and mentor team members while maintaining accountability and operational standards.
  • Address performance issues and communicate concerns to management when necessary.

Scheduling & Operations:
  • Create and manage officer schedules.
  • Handle daily staffing adjustments, shift coverage, and call-outs.
  • Ensure all shifts are properly staffed and operational needs are met.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with site procedures and client expectations.

Client Relations:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client and SMI Security Services.
  • Attend meetings with the client and provide operational updates.
  • Maintain strong communication and professionalism in all client interactions.
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally.

Public Interaction & Property Presence:
  • Maintain a strong and professional visible presence throughout the property.
  • Interact daily with residents, visitors, vendors, and the general public.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing property rules and security procedures.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and incident response when necessary.

Field Responsibilities:
  • Work outdoors for extended periods as part of daily operations.
  • Conduct patrols and monitor activity throughout the property.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security-related concerns.
  • Complete reports and documentation accurately and professionally.

Qualifications:
Required Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Site Manager, or Security Operations Manager.
  • Strong leadership and team management background.
  • Experience managing schedules and handling staffing issues.
  • Experience dealing directly with clients and the public.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to lead by example and remain calm under pressure.

Additional Requirements:
  • Valid Florida Security D License required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the shift.
  • Flexible availability may be required based on operational needs.

Compensation & Opportunity:
  • Pay: Salary-based position equivalent to approximately $24–$25 per hour.
  • Opportunity for direct hire with the client after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.
