SMI Security – Security Officer:

Luxury High-Rise Condominium | Bal Harbour, Florida

Position Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Days Off: Assigned by the Account Manager.
• Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
• Location: Bal Harbour, Florida.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assist with resident, guest, and vendor parking.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas and assigned spaces.
• Maintain order, professionalism, and a strong security presence throughout the property.
• Observe and report incidents, violations, suspicious activity, and other issues to property management and the client in a timely manner.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors.
• Conduct routine patrols of parking areas, common areas, and assigned portions of the property.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Monitor access points and assist with overall property security operations.
• Respond professionally to resident and guest concerns.
• Follow all SMI Security and client post orders and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous security experience required.
• High-rise condominium or luxury residential security experience preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and comfortable using basic reporting systems and email.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong observation, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Must be dependable, focused, and able to work independently.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
• Valid Florida Security License preferred.
