Pay: $18.00 per hour

SMI is hiring On-Call Security Officers to support operations throughout Broward County. This position is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience while learning SMI's security operations across multiple client sites.

Requirements:
  • Must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Valid Florida Driver License with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable personal vehicle (required).
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel to various assignments throughout Broward County.

This position provides valuable experience working at multiple locations and offers opportunities for growth within SMI Security Services.

Bilingual On-Call Security Floater – Miami-Dade County (2 Positions Available)

Pay: $18.00 per hour

SMI is seeking two bilingual (English/Spanish) Security Officers to support our Miami-Dade County operations.

This role is designed for dependable officers who are ready to expand their experience by working at a variety of client locations while supporting our Operations Team.

Requirements:

SMI Security Services is hiring a Male Security Officer for a luxury residential community in North Miami Beach.

This position includes a combination of:
  • Front Desk Security
  • Parking Enforcement
  • Customer Service
  • Property Patrols

Schedule:
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Combination of afternoon and overnight shifts

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, maintain a professional appearance, and be comfortable working in a residential high-rise environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active Florida Class D Security License (preferred/required based on assignment).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable transportation (required for applicable positions).
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
