Security Officer – Residential Community Security
SMI Security | Buckley Towers – North Miami Beach, Florida.
Security Management Innovation (SMI) is currently hiring professional, reliable, and experienced Security Officers to join our residential community security team at Buckley Towers in North Miami Beach, Florida.
We are looking for officers who take pride in their work, provide excellent customer service, and can maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment for residents, guests, vendors, and property management.
Position Details:
- Location: Buckley Towers – North Miami Beach, FL.
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.
- Employment Type: Full-Time.
- Schedule: Assigned by the Site Supervisor.
- Interviews: Immediate interviews available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor access points, entrances, and property activity.
- Conduct routine security patrols and inspections.
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the property.
- Assist residents, guests, vendors, and property management as needed.
- Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security incidents.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
- Respond appropriately to security concerns and emergencies.
- Maintain professional communication with SMI management, dispatch, residents, and site personnel.
- Follow all SMI Security and client post orders and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance while on duty.
Requirements:
- Valid Florida Class D Security License required.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be flexible with scheduling.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous when dealing with residents, guests, and property management.
