Security Officer – Overnight Shift

SMI is currently seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer for a luxury high-rise condominium account located in Bal Harbour, Florida.
This is an overnight position for candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced working in high-end residential environments.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Days Off: Friday & Saturday.
- Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and monitor resident, guest, and vendor parking.
- Ensure vehicles are parked in the correct designated areas and spaces.
- Maintain order and professionalism throughout the property.
- Observe and report all incidents, violations, and issues to property management and the client in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
- Conduct routine patrols of parking and common areas.
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Monitor access points and assist with overnight property security operations.
Requirements:
- Previous security experience required.
- Experience working in a high-rise condominium environment preferred.
- Must be computer savvy and comfortable using basic reporting systems and email communication.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be focused, dependable, and able to work independently overnight.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
- Valid Security License preferred.
