Job Summary:
Scheule - Monday & Wednesday - OFF.
Tuesday - 11p-7a.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 3p-11p.
The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, residents, and visitors of Nirvana Condominiums. This role requires a vigilant and proactive approach to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor and control access to the property, including residents, visitors, and contractors.
- Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of the property, both on foot and in a vehicle, to deter crime and identify potential hazards.
- Incident Response: Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, including but not limited to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
- Report Writing: Document all incidents and observations in clear and concise reports.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
- Security Systems: Operate and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Bilingual Communication: Fluently communicate in both English and Spanish.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid security officer license (if required by state law).
- Previous experience in the security field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to perform duties, including standing, walking, and running.
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
