Security Officer (Floater) – Broward & West Palm Beach Area

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends as needed)
Location: Broward County & West Palm Beach, FL

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer (Floater) to support multiple client sites throughout the Broward and West Palm Beach areas. This role is ideal for a flexible officer who is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in various environments on short notice. The Floater will provide coverage for call-outs, vacations, new account startups, and high-need shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide security coverage at various client locations as assigned.
Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
Conduct routine patrols (foot and/or vehicle).
Monitor access control points and verify credentials.
Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies.
Enforce client policies and company procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Florida Security D License (Required).
TWIC Card (Preferred / Plus).
Reliable personal transportation (Required – must be able to travel between Broward and West Palm Beach).
Flexible availability (including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts).
Strong communication and report-writing skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to pass background screening and drug test.

Compensation & Benefits:
