Job Title: Foot/Pool Patrol Rover
Location: Hollywood Beach (Ocean Drive Area)
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Positions Available: 2
Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday - 11p-7a
Position Overview:
We are seeking professional and reliable Security Officers to serve as Foot/Pool Patrol Rovers for a high-rise condominium located in the Hollywood Beach area. This role is highly visible and customer-facing, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to patrol a multi-level property effectively.
Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the property, including all 43 floors, common areas, and pool deck.
- Monitor and secure pool area, ensuring compliance with property rules and safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting residents, guests, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or incidents.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with supervisors and team members regarding incidents or concerns.
- Utilize basic computer systems for reporting, logging activities, and incident documentation.
- Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
- Assist with access control and enforce property policies as needed.
Work Schedule:
- Must be available to work 1st and 2nd shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Florida Class D Security License.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, including continuous foot patrols.
- Comfortable patrolling a high-rise building (43 floors).
- Basic computer skills and report writing ability required.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Tech-savvy and able to learn property-specific systems quickly.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Prior experience in condominium or residential security.
- Experience with access control systems and surveillance equipment.
Work Environment:
- Indoor and outdoor patrols, including pool deck exposure to weather conditions.
- High-rise residential setting with frequent interaction with residents and guests.
