SMI Security – Security Officer:
Luxury High-Rise Condominium | Bal Harbour, Florida.
SMI Security is currently seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented Security Officer for a luxury high-rise condominium account in Bal Harbour, Florida.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and experienced working in high-end residential environments.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Days Off: Assigned by the Account Manager.
- Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
- Location: Bal Harbour, Florida.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assist with resident, guest, and vendor parking.
- Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas and assigned spaces.
- Maintain order, professionalism, and a strong security presence throughout the property.
- Observe and report incidents, violations, suspicious activity, and other issues to property management and the client in a timely manner.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors.
- Conduct routine patrols of parking areas, common areas, and assigned portions of the property.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Monitor access points and assist with overall property security operations.
- Respond professionally to resident and guest concerns.
- Follow all SMI Security and client post orders and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous security experience required.
- High-rise condominium or luxury residential security experience preferred.
- Must be computer savvy and comfortable using basic reporting systems and email.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong observation, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Must be dependable, focused, and able to work independently.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
- Valid Florida Security License preferred.
