Position Overview:
SMI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Assistant to support our business development and outreach efforts. This part-time role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with direct communication, enjoys creative marketing tasks, and can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in generating leads, maintaining client engagement, and supporting marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to introduce services and generate new business opportunities.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales team with qualified leads.
- Manage and maintain company social media accounts, including content posting and engagement tracking.
- Design marketing materials such as flyers, social media posts, and promotional graphics using Canva.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns to target audiences.
- Update and maintain accurate customer and lead information in Salesforce.
- Generate reports and track key performance metrics related to sales and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with internal team members to align outreach and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with prospective clients.
- Basic graphic design skills or experience using Canva or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
Work Environment:
This is a part-time position requiring 25 hours per week. The role may be performed in an office, hybrid, or remote setting depending on company needs.
