Job Title: Bilingual Gatehouse Security Officer
Location: Kendall / Dadeland Area, Miami, FL

Job Description:
SMI Security is currently seeking a sharp, professional, and bilingual Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team in the Kendall / Dadeland area. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people in a customer-facing environment.

As a Gatehouse Officer, you will be responsible for controlling access to the property, greeting residents and visitors, verifying credentials, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are required.

Pay Rate:
$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Tuesday & Wednesday: OFF

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access at the gatehouse.
Verify identification and authorize entry of residents, guests, and vendors.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
Maintain accurate logs and reports.
Respond to incidents and follow proper security procedures.

Requirements:

Bilingual (English & Spanish required).
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to work well with others and independently.

Hiring Requirements:
Candidates must bring the following documents to the interview:

Valid Security D License
Social Security Card
Direct Deposit Form

Additional Requirements:

Must pass a background check.
Must pass a drug screening.
